Ritualists confess to using human parts for money ritual.

Suspected ritualists arrested by the police in Ogun state have confessed to trading and using human body parts for money ritual. Vanguard reports that Ahmed Iliyasu who is the commissioner of police in the state paraded the suspects while allaying the fears of residents. He said the suspects were arrested by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad. He said the first syndicate comprised of two suspects, Lateef Aremu and Kola Sodipo and that they were arrested after they got information about them.

- The report shows that the federal capital territory got N5.74 billion from the federal government’s share of the distributable revenue
The 36 states shared N173.8 billion from the federation account in September 2017 from the distributable revenue generated for the month.
The breakdown was obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in a report from the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in Abuja.
The funds are usually shared the following month.

EFCC probes Fayose’s govt over alleged diversion of N680m meant for workers' salaries
- Governor Ayodele's government has been accused of diverting N680 million from the state’s coffers to a private fixed deposit account, which was yielding N6 million interest every month

The Ayodele Fayose government in Ekiti state is under investigation for alleged diversion of over N680 million meant for salaries and pension of civil servants.
The money was traced by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to a fixed account which the commission claims yields N6 million monthly, The Nation reports.

NYSC releases mobilization time-table for 2017 Batch B
The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the mobilization time-table for 2017 Batch B prospective corp members.
The corps says online registration by foreign and locally trained Nigerian graduates will begin on October 23 and end on November 12 while prospective corps members are to start printing call up letters from November 13 to 17 2017.
The NYSC announced this on their official Facebook on Saturday, October 14.
